How to find the correct replacement battery for your Jumper Ezbook series laptops?

 

Normally, you can find the correct replacement battery by entering the computer model or battery model in the search bar. However, this method is not applicable to all computers. For example, Jumper Ezbook series notebook computers, there are several   types of batteries base on the same battery model. Please see the image below, 


 If you search the battery model HW-3487265 or NV-2874180-2S, you can’t find the battery with the only shape. The same battery model has different shapes and connectors. How can I buy the correct battery? Please follow the steps below

1. Check the model and serial number of the laptop battery in order to confirm the compatibility.

2. Check the battery model, voltage and capacity. (Usually voltage fluctuations within 0.4V will not affect battery performance, and capacity differences within 500mAh will not make much difference in battery life.)

3. Check the shape of the battery. You must take out the old battery and check it carefully from every sides. When checking the shape of the battery, pay special attention to the position of the screw holes and the battery interface. Regards on the number of pins of the interface and the position of the data cable. If your new battery is incompatible or can not be charged, the only difference between the new battery and the old battery is the location of the data cable on the interface, please contact the supplier to solve it in time (usually you can correct it according to the plug-in position of the old battery. Unplug it from the wrong pin and plug it into the correct position. This requires the battery manufacturer’s guidance.) Generally speak, there is no difference between the 10pins interface with 7 lines and 8lines, the black line is useless.(see below image)

This situation often happens,the 10-pin interface battery with 7-wire and 8-wire are compatible with each other, which means that when you buy a laptop battery of P313R, 3282122-2S for Jumper Ezbook 3 pro /EZBook 3 Pro S, you don’t have to care whether the battery you receive is 7-wire or 8-wire.Please do not hesitate to installing the battery to see if the battery is charge, there is no problem if it works normally.(below image states the two kinds of connector). This only applies when the battery shape and the number of interface pins are the same, and just difference on the number of data lines.

But you can not use it if the shape is difference, in that case, you must very serious on the battery model and shape. If the shape of the battery is wrong, it cannot be installed correctly.For instance,the ACER battery model AP15O5L,there are two batteries with difference screw holes. It is very necessary to tell the seller which one you need while ordering.

Anyway, In any case, we strongly recommend that customers send a clear picture of the old battery to the supplier for re-checking before shipping. This is the most effective way to avoid errors.
